My reading journey

Aldi

How do you leverage your brand voice to continue to support important issues?

As schools broke up for summer, Aldi uncovered the shocking statistic that over 410,00 children in the UK don’t own a single book, that's an average of two in every classroom.

To combat this and help keep kids learning Aldi pledged to donate over 100,000 books to those that need them.

Building on the success of Hunger Monster platform we created a hero animation narrated by Marcus Rashford, equality advocate and children’s author, to amplify their mission, whilst encouraging the public to donate too.

To launch the campaign, we also partnered with ‘Diary of a CEO’ podcast host and Dragon Steven Bartlett who raised awareness of the initiative and drove engagement via media interviews and social post.
