How do you bring back a legend?

Ford Capri, icons of the 1970s and 80’s, loved by bank robbers an police officers alike was back in 2024. The decades may have moved on but the rebellious swagger Capri held remained in the all new EV. So how do you bring back a legend; you work with another. In this instance, footballing enfant terrible Eric Cantona.​

Whilst Eric teased audiences through social as to the emergence of a new legend, we created a media event full of mischief that drew on past references of urban London for the European Media Event.​

Located in a disused Victorian Power Station in London’s East End, we created a secret reveal moment for over 160 key media and influencers to get a first glimpse of Capri.​

Building on the Capri launch colour – yellow, we created a series of installations within two spaces with a choreographed presentation and reveal by Eric himself of the new vehicle. In addition to the guests in London, the event was live streamed to over 600 Ford Employees in Germany​

The Capri reveal campaign drove a Ford record​ 803 million in earned coverage exceeding​industry benchmarks.
